what i truly love to eat is ancient food. 38 m + 6 m

i put in a little more effort to extend the nasal resonance at the end of aum a little longer.

after a few rounds it is evident that there is a steady, gentle buzz undulating from deep within the forehead between the brows.

meanwhile i am relishing in the ocean sound and movement of the breath waving through my consciousness.

there is no question in my mind that the cells in the body enjoy this subtle buzz. they can't get enough of it. i recognize it in the way i know how: they are eating the food they love.

somehow i have always sensed something ancient about the syllable, and the tail-end resonance in particular. my kind and knowledgeable friend norm says, you know, the basic cellular architecture in plants and animals, human included, is the same in fundamentals, goes all the way back to 4 billion years, and that's only as far as we know.

ancient indeed is the resonance.

hwubby says, my teacher says, after my hunger of ages i feed on thy light.

that's right. that feels like what the cells are doing. really, what are buzz and resonance but some form of light, and vice versa.
